This contract doesn’t go into effect until we agree to it. All SEIU Local 99 members are encouraged to come vote on our contract.

On April 5th, our SEIU Local 99 Bargaining Team won a Tentative Agreement on our 2016-2017 wage/benefit re-opener with the Lynwood Unified School District.
This Tentative Agreement includes:
- A 2% wage increase, on-schedule, retroactive to 7/1/2016;
- A $356 one-time payment for each employee in our Bargaining Unit;
- An increase in our employer health premium cap (from $8500 per employee, per year to $8571 per employee, per year); and
- A “me-too” trigger to reopen on wages and/or benefits for 2016-2017 if any other Bargaining Unit in the District negotiates a better deal than ours.
