On May 1, 2017, members at Lynwood Unified overwhelmingly ratified a new agreement on our 2016-2017 wage/benefit re-opener.
The agreement includes:
- A 2% wage increase, on-schedule, retroactive to 7/1/2016;
- A $356 one-time payment for each employee in our Bargaining Unit;
- An increase in our employer health premium cap (from $8500 per employee, per year to $8571 per employee, per year); and
- A “me-too” trigger to reopen on wages and/or benefits for 2016-2017 if any other Bargaining Unit in the District negotiates a better deal than ours.
